Glomax® Zinc Chromate / Phosphate Primer

Our high quality protective primers enable users to cover porosity and imperfections on different types of substrate in order to deliver a sealed, even, smooth, and stable foundation for the topcoat. Using the correct primer for the substrate will guarantee the surface coating to have better coating adhesion. That’s because primers create a very strong bond with various surfaces, anchoring the topcoat tightly to the substrate.

Glomax® Zinc Chromate / Phosphate Primer is a very useful alkyd-based primer with excellent anti-corrosive and anti-rust primer properties which is suitable for use on iron and steel work and aluminium alloys. The primer contains rust inhibitive pigments which protect the metal surfaces from corrosion especially in mild to medium aggressive environments. Many users have also prefer to use this primer as a maintenance primer when short to medium term protection of non-blasted steel surfaces is needed.
